From Hydrogen ICEBEAR to Future EV Communities
The world's first hydrogen fuel cell-powered ice rink resurfacing machine was developed as the result of the collaboration of ePower Synergies, Resurfice, UND-EERC, Hymotion, and Dynetek. The project was completed in just under two months. The Olympia ICEBEAR is capable of running continuously for up to 10 hours on just under 2 kilograms of gaseous hydrogen.

ePower Synergies Delivers Hydrogen Powered, Fuel Cell Hybrid Forklift Truck
ePower Synergies, Inc., announces the delivery to the North Dakota Army National Guard of its second hydrogen powered, fuel cell hybrid vehicle: a new Hyster forklift truck. This new vehicle is the result of a partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (Champaign, Illinois), the Energy and Environmental Research Center (EERC) at the University of North Dakota (Grand Forks, North Dakota), and ePower Synergies, Inc. (Cordova, Illinois). The objectives of this US Department of Defense funded program are to develop fuel cell vehicles and a portable hydrogen production and refueling system for military applications. The lift truck and its hydrogen powered, fuel cell hybrid power pack was integrated by ePower Synergies in Portland, Oregon. The truck offers high performance and quiet operation with no carbon monoxide or other harmful emissions. The forklift is currently on display at the EERC. It is has begun a one-year long demonstration and evaluation with the North Dakota National Guard.

ePower Synergies, Inc. Announces Commercial Fuel-Cell Purchase for US Army Project
ePower Synergies, Inc. announced today that it has purchased a hydrogen-powered Hydricity Pack from General Hydrogen Corp. The Hydricity Pack will be used in a new hydrogen fuel cell powered forklift truck. This vehicle is part of a US Army Constsruction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) project being led by the University of North Dakota Energy and Environmental Research Center (EERC), at the Grand Forks Air Force Base in GrandForks, North Dakota.
